2013 Wildlife Ecology Science Research Scholarship

University of Technology, SydneyAre you a full-time PhD candidate or Masters Research Student?
Does your project have direct relevance to the conservation of Australian native
fauna or flora?

You may be eligible to submit an application for the newly established Australian Wildlife Society Research Scholarship to help you complete your degree.

Scholarship details: Scholarship valued at $5,000.00 for 1 year

Applications close: 28 February

2009 - University Student Centenary Grants - winners

The Australian Wildlife Society is delighted to announce the winners of the two grants of $5,000 each to honours or postgraduate students conducting research that will contribute to the conservation of Australian wildlife. The two Centenary Grants are awarded based on each applicant's progress in the project for which the Initial Grant was awarded.

The winners for 2009 are:

Arian Wallach – School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Adelaide.
Project – “Persistence of endangered mammals: Is the dingo the key?”

Andrew Cole – ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies, James Cook University, Townsville.
Project – “The control of coral disease by coral-feeding fishes”
